Abstract:
This host device is provided with: an interface for communicating with a slave device; and a controller for controlling communication. The controller receives, at a first transfer speed from the slave device, a tuning parameter (TP) and an identifier of a device that wrote the TP. In the case where the TP was written by the ego device, the controller sets an initial value for a blanking timing by using the TP. The controller transmits, to the slave device a plurality of times, requests for transmission of tuning blocks at a faster second transfer speed, and latches, at the interface a plurality of times, blocks sequentially transmitted in response to the respective transmission requests with the initial value as a reference. The controller adjusts the blanking timing on the basis of a determination result of whether or not a pattern of each of the acquired blocks matches with an already-known pattern.
