Abstract:
This hot-press molding die comprises: a mold body (2) made of a tool steel alloy; and a large number of molding projections (3) protruding from the mold body, forming a molding surface (5) in contact with a heated metal plate to be molded, and forming a coolant passage through which a coolant flows. The molding body has a first molding portion (14) in which the molding surface extends in a direction crossing the molding direction of the metal plate, a second molding portion (15) in which the molding surface extends in the molding direction, and a third molding portion (16) connecting the first molding portion and the second molding portion such that the molding surface is convexly curved. The molding projections on the third molding portion are formed to be ridges extending between the first molding portion and the second molding portion. The hot-press molding die is capable of easily forming a high-hardness molding convex portion.
