Abstract:
A housing for a ball joint, production cost of which can be reduced and which can
have desired strength easily. The housing (7) has a first housing body (11) having
a staking section (10) that is subjected to staking afterward. A second housing
body (12) is integrally provided on the outer periphery of the first housing body
(11). The first housing body (11) is made from a high elongation material, which
is easily processed in staking. The second housing body (12) is made from a low
elongation material less elongatable than the high elongation material.
