Abstract:
In order to raise the number of revolutions (MRN2) of an MG2 up to a target number of
revolutions (number of revolutions of low gear NLG) corresponding to the low gear
Lo, the output torque of the MG2 begins to increase from time t4. In the inertia phase
(period α), the output torque of the MG2 is limited not to exceed a first
limit value (TLIM1) determined dependent on the degree of progress of speed change
(PRG) and a second limit value (TLIM2) determined dependent on the marginal number
of revolutions NEmgn. Since the output torque of the MG2 is sufficiently small
in the final stage of the inertia phase (period α), output variation occurring
at time t6 when torque down is performed on the MG2 can be reduced. Torque down
of the MG2 and MG 1 causes no increase in the number of revolutions of the engine NE.
