Abstract:
An electric machine comprised of: a stator pole having shape of a hallow or partially core cylinder (2) on which stator winding is located (1) and at least one permanent magnet or electromagnet rotor having shape of a piston (3), that moves inside of cylinder-shape stator pole due to interaction of magnetic fields of stator and rotor. Rotor is connected to a crank shaft (6) by a solid connection rod (4) which can be magnetic material. Crank shaft is coupled mechanically to a flywheel (7). It is possible to move rotor inside stator pole by interaction of two fields and the reverse movement by power stored in crankshaft. Upper segment of stator pole can be filled with magnetic materials as core of stator (8). This type of electric machine has unique characteristics such as high efficiency, very low air gap and hysteresis losses, high reliability, operability, maintainability, operating life and variable output power, operating as motor or generator and capable of generating torque as motor and producing electricity as generator simultaneously. Finally, this electric machine is capable of working with both high voltage sparks power or sinusoid driving power.
