Abstract:
Disclosed is a hybrid optoelectric layered switching optical access network, comprising a core switching layer, an intra-domain switching layer, a passive optical distribution layer and an edge access layer from top down. Hybrid optoelectric core switching nodes have a core domain function and an access domain function. The core domain function is located at the core switching layer, the access domain function is located at the intra-domain switching layer, passive optical distribution nodes are located at the passive optical distribution layer, and edge access nodes and users are all located at the edge access layer. The hybrid optoelectric core switching nodes are interconnected to form a grid topology so as to constitute a core domain. Each hybrid optoelectric core switching node is further connected to an access domain under the jurisdiction thereof so as to achieve an edge access function. A tree topology is composed by using the hybrid optoelectric core switching nodes as root nodes and by using the passive optical distribution nodes and the edge access nodes as child nodes. Said optical access network architecture may achieve massive multi-source heterogeneous data convergence and fusion, exchange and unified control, solve root node bandwidth bottlenecking, and improve the performance and efficiency of an optical access network.
