Abstract:
A temperature sensor (26) detects a temperature (T1) of a fuel pipe (24) for supplying
a fuel from a fuel tank (22) to an engine (2). An HV-ECU (36) controls switching
between the EV mode when a vehicle travels with the engine (2) stopped and the HV
mode when the vehicle travels with the engine (2) operating. The HV-ECU (36)
receives a detection value of the temperature (T1) from an engine ECU (32). If
the temperature (T1) of the fuel pipe (24) exceeds a predetermined threshold
during travel in the EV mode, the ECU (36) switches the travel mode from the EV to
the HV.
