Title:
HYDRAULIC PLIERS FOR CONNECTING REINFORCING BARS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/004308
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Hydraulic pliers for connecting reinforcing bars, mainly comprising an upper clamping arm (1), a lower clamping arm (2), an upper chuck (3), a lower chuck (4), handles (5), a hydraulic cylinder (6), a hydraulic piston (7), and a hydraulic handle (10). The working principle of the hydraulic pliers is: the pair of handles is pushed open so that the upper chuck and the lower chuck are opened, and an upper connecting reinforcing bar (12) and a lower connecting reinforcing bar (13) are positioned between the upper chuck and the lower chuck; the pair of handles is closed so that the upper connecting reinforcing bar contacts the lower connecting reinforcing bar; and then the hydraulic handle is shaken so that the hydraulic piston extends and drives the upper chuck and the lower chuck to extrude the upper connecting reinforcing bar and the lower connecting reinforcing bar, such that the transverse sections of the upper connecting reinforcing bar and the lower connecting reinforcing bar are extruded into symmetric trapezoids, and the longitudinal sections of the upper connecting reinforcing bar and the lower connecting reinforcing bar are extruded into uneven shapes. The hydraulic pliers are mainly used for connecting reinforcing bars in the field of building engineering. The construction is easy and rapid, and the material cost is saved.
