Abstract:
A hydrogen cooling device according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a two-dimensional refrigerating unit 1 including a high-temperature side refrigerator 100 and a low-temperature side refrigerator 200; and a hydrogen cooling fluid circulating unit 2. The two-dimensional refrigerating unit 1 employs a low-temperature side evaporator 204 of the low-temperature side refrigerator 200 to cool hydrogen cooling fluid that is being circulated by the hydrogen cooling fluid circulating unit 2. The high-temperature side refrigerator 100 includes a high-temperature side refrigeration circuit 105, and a high-temperature side bypass circuit 110 including a high-temperature side bypass flow passage 111 which extends from a part of the high-temperature side refrigeration circuit 105 on the downstream side of a high-temperature side compressor and on the upstream side of a high-temperature side condenser to a part of the high-temperature side refrigeration circuit 105 on the downstream side of a high-temperature side expansion valve and on the upstream side of a high-temperature side evaporator, and a high-temperature side open/closed valve 112 provided in the high-temperature side bypass circuit 111, wherein the high-temperature side open/closed valve 112 is opened if there is a pressure abnormality of a high-temperature side refrigerant.
