Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of polyurethanes, and provides a hydrophilic diisocyanate, comprising at least one structural unit as represented by the general formula (I). In the formula, SO3M is a sulfonate group, M is a K ion or a Na ion or an ammonium ion, and n is 1-6. The hydrophilic diisocyanate is generated by reaction of at least one hydrophobic chain extender with a diisocyanate. The sulfonate group in the hydrophilic diisocyanate structure in the present invention is a salt formed from a strong acid and a strong base and has good hydrophilicity; the isocyanate groups at both ends retain the properties of the original diisocyanate, and thus having the chemical reaction characteristics of the diisocyanate; the use of the hydrophilic diisocyanate in the present invention to prepare waterborne polyurethanes changes existing technological methods, and greatly simplify operations.
