Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a novel KRN7000 analogue which is expected to have an immunosuppressive effect and is biased toward type-Th2;and a medicinal agent comprising the KRN7000 analogue. A compound represented by formula (I) (wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a hydroxy group; two R2's may be the same as or different from each other and independently represent a hydrogen atom or a hydroxy group; R3 represents a hydrocarbon group having 8 to 14 carbon atoms which may have a substituent; and R4 represents a hydrocarbon group having 18 to 24 carbon atoms which may have a substituent) or a salt thereof.
