Abstract:
Provided in the present invention are an integrated circuit (IC) card-based transaction processing and credit payment authorization method and a device, the transaction processing method comprising: after a credit card terminal detects an IC card, and if determined that the IC card satisfies a credit payment condition, then determining that a current transaction is completed, and recording relevant information of the current transaction; a server of an IC card issuer generating a charge request which carries the relevant information of the current transaction, and sending the charge request to a credit authorization party, wherein a payment account of a holder of the IC card is pre-registered with the credit authorization party; according to the charge request, the credit authorization party performing a charge operation on the payment account of the holder of the IC card, and after charging is successful, settling the current transaction with the IC card issuer. In an embodiment, the IC card uses credit payment during a transaction, and the user does not need to fill the IC card in advance, which may reduce the processing of card filling-related services for the IC card issuer, thus significantly improving IC card management efficiency.
