Abstract:
The present invention provides an image acquisition device, a paper-sheet handling device, an image acquisition system, an image acquisition method, and an image acquisition program with which it is possible to flexibly change the light emission pattern in accordance with the usage environment. An image acquisition device according to the present invention acquires an image of a paper sheet by using a plurality of kinds of light sources that illuminate the paper sheet and a line sensor including a plurality of image-capturing elements disposed in line. The image acquisition device is provided with: an information acquisition unit that acquires setting information; a program acquisition unit that acquires a light-emission control program corresponding to the setting information acquired by the information acquisition unit; and an image-capturing control unit that acquires at least one kind of image of the illuminated paper sheet by synchronizing reading by the line sensor with a light emission pattern of the plurality of kinds of light sources, while controlling the light emission pattern on the basis of the light-emission control program acquired by the program acquisition unit.
