Abstract:
The present invention provides an image capture apparatus, an electronic device, and a method for using an electronic device; the image capture apparatus comprises an image capture mechanism, a drive shaft, a lifting/lowering member, a drive mechanism, and a gear set; the image capture mechanism comprises a lens module and a support rod; the lifting/lowering member is sleeved on the drive shaft and is threadedly engaged with the drive shaft; the drive mechanism is connected to one end of the drive shaft; the gear set comprises a first gear arranged on the drive shaft and a second gear arranged on the support rod and meshed with the first gear; the lifting/lowering member, when moving along the axial direction of the drive shaft, drives the lens module and the support rod to move along the axial direction of the drive shaft; when the second gear moves with the support rod to mesh with the first gear, the drive shaft drives the support rod and the lens module to rotate by means of the gear set. In the image capture apparatus of the present invention, it is unnecessary for a user to manually rotate in order to capture images at different angles, thus it is convenient for the user to use, improving the operating experience of the user.
