Abstract:
Provided is an image capture apparatus of low power consumption. A first circuit and a second circuit are provided in a pixel. The first circuit can generate image capture data and can hold differential data relative to data acquired in an initial frame. A circuit for comparing the differential data with a voltage range that is arbitrarily specified is provided in the second circuit. The second circuit supplies a read signal depending on the comparison result to the first circuit. Employment of this configuration makes it possible to effect no reading from the pixel when it is determined that the differential data is within the specified voltage range and to effect reading from the pixel only when it is determined that the differential data is not within the voltage range.
