Abstract:
An image capture device (100) comprises: an optical system (1); an image capture element (2) that has an image capture surface (2a) on which a subject image is formed by the optical system (1) and acquires multiple images in a time sequence; a shifting mechanism (4) that relatively shifts the image capture element (2) and the optical system (1) in a direction parallel to the image capture surface (2a); a motion amount calculation unit (6) that calculates a motion amount of the subject image on the image capture surface (2a); a shifting amount calculation unit (7) that calculates a shifting amount that is greater, the smaller the motion amount of the subject image is; and a shifting control unit (8) that controls the shifting mechanism (4), thereby relatively shifting the image capture element (2) and the optical system (1) by the calculated shifting amount between acquisitions of the multiple images.
