Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to suppress positional deviation of a substrate unit in which an image capturing element and a substrate are integrated. An image capturing apparatus includes: an image capturing optical system having at least one optical element; a holding member for holding the image capturing optical system; an image capturing element for capturing a subject image formed by the image capturing optical system; a substrate on which the image capturing element is mounted; and an adhesive member which fixes a substrate unit in which the image capturing element and the substrate are integrated to the holding member, wherein the adhesive member partially contacts the surface of the substrate unit, and the surface of the substrate unit in the portion in contact with the adhesive member faces different directions at at least two positions.
