Abstract:
Provided is a lightweight and thin image capturing apparatus. Provided is a highly convenient image capturing apparatus. This image capturing apparatus has an image capturing unit, a memory, and an arithmetic circuit. The image capturing unit includes a light receiving device, a first light emitting device, and a second light emitting device. The first light emitting device has a function of emitting light in a wavelength region different from a wavelength region of the second light emitting device. The image capturing unit has a function of causing the first light emitting device to emit light and acquiring first image data. The image capturing unit has a function of causing the second light emitting device to emit light and acquiring second image data. The memory has a function of holding first reference data and second reference data. The arithmetic circuit has a function of correcting the first image data by using the first reference data, and calculating first corrected image data. The arithmetic circuit has a function of correcting the second image data by using the second reference data, and calculating second corrected image data. The arithmetic circuit has a function of adding the first corrected image data and the second corrected image data to generate composite image data. The light receiving device has a first pixel electrode, and the first light emitting device has a second pixel electrode located on the same plane as the first pixel electrode.
