Abstract:
An image capturing system according to the present invention is provided with: a position detection unit which detects the position of an object in a first region; an image generation unit which captures an image of a second region which includes the object and generates image data; a target region setting unit which sets in the image data a target region corresponding to the position of the object detected by the position detection unit; a recognition unit which executes a recognition process on the target region; and an image capture control unit which executes image capture control in the image generation unit on the basis of the result of the recognition process.
