Abstract:
An image formation device (100), provided with a casing (1), a plurality of inner covers (11), a plurality of light-emitting elements (12), and a plurality of sheet sensors. The plurality of inner covers (11) are disposed in the casing (1). The plurality of light-emitting elements (12) are disposed in the plurality of inner covers (11). The plurality of sheet sensors output a sensing signal indicating the presence/absence of a sheet in regions corresponding to the plurality of inner covers (11). A control unit senses the occurrence of a jam in response to the sensing signal. The control unit senses a region in which the jam has occurred from among the plurality of regions. The control unit controls the operation of the light-emitting element (12) that, from among the plurality of light-emitting elements (12), is disposed in the inner cover (11) corresponding to the region in which the jam has occurred.
