Abstract:
Provided is an image formation device capable of improving the ability to resolve nozzle clogging. An image formation device 1 is provided with a photosensitive drum 4, a developing device 7, a transfer device 8, and an spraying device 9. The spraying device 9 sprays a fixing solution to a sheet S to which toner has been transferred, the fixing solution being for fixing the toner onto the sheet. A control device 12 can execute first purge processing (S2) and second purge processing (S4) when the sheet S has not passed the spraying device 9. In the first purge processing (S2), the quantity per unit time of the fixing solution sprayed from the spraying device 9 (the quantity sprayed per unit time) is a first quantity. In the second purge processing (S4), the quantity sprayed per unit time is a second quantity that is greater than the first quantity.
