Abstract:
An image forming device (1) to which a replenishing container (40) that houses toner can be attached and detached, that is capable of forming a toner image on a recording material and comprises: an image carrier (21); a developing container (32) housing toner; a developing means (31) that uses the toner housed in the developing container and develops an electrostatic latent image formed on the image carrier into a toner image; a replenishing port that can replenish toner to the developing container from the replenishing container outside the image formation device, by the replenishing container being attached thereto; a restricting member that can transition to a permission state, in which rotation of the replenishing container attached to the replenishing port is permitted, and a restricted stated in which rotation is restricted; a notification means (300) that makes notification of replenishment procedures for replenishing toner from the replenishing container to the developing container; and a control means that causes the notification means to notify at least one procedure among the replenishment procedures.
