The frequency of replacing a drum cartridge and toner cartridge independently is reduced. The image forming device comprises a display, a drum cartridge, a toner cartridge, and a control unit. The control unit causes a drum cartridge replacement message to be displayed on the display when it is determined that the accumulated number of prints by the drum is a first predetermined number of prints or more. The control unit causes a toner cartridge replacement message to be displayed on the display when it is determined that the accumulated toner supply amount for the toner cartridge is a first supply amount or more. When it is determined that the accumulated toner supply amount is the first supply amount or more and that the accumulated number of prints by the drum is a second predetermined number of prints or more, the control unit does not cause the drum cartridge replacement message and the toner cartridge replacement message to be displayed on the display until a value obtained by subtracting the accumulated consumed amount of toner from the accumulated received amount of toner is a first threshold or less regardless of whether or not the accumulated number of prints by the drum is the first predetermined number of prints or more (S401-S405).
