Abstract:
This image forming device comprises: an image holding unit that holds a color material image including an adjustment image; a transfer unit having a transfer region in which a holding unit that holds a recording medium rotates so as to pass a recessed section provided in an outer peripheral surface, and the color material image is transferred from the image holding unit to the record medium; a transport unit that causes the recording medium to pass the transfer region of the transfer unit while being held by the holding unit; and a shield unit that covers the recessed section of the transfer unit to suppress color materials that constitute the color material image from infiltrating into the recessed section.
