Abstract:
This technology relates to an image generation device, an image generation method, an image reproduction device and an image reproduction method which enable easy reproduction of an image. This image generation device comprises a generation unit and an addition unit. Association information for associating information to be referred to in a restricted scheme information box (rinf) with a Sample Group is generated by the generation unit. The association information is added to the Sample Group by the addition unit. Since the information to be referred to in the rinf is associated with the Sample Group by means of the association information, referencing to the information to be referred to in the rinf is facilitated. This technology is applicable to image processing systems for generating and reproducing an image.
