Abstract:
The present invention generates an image enabling confirmation of a focusing position without superposing a peaking signal on a captured image. Accordingly, an image processing apparatus according to the present invention is provided with: an image signal generation unit that generates, from one captured image signal, a plurality of image signals having frequency characteristics different from each other; and a blending unit that blends the image signals on the basis of a blending ratio determined on the basis of a peaking signal for the one captured image signal.
