Abstract:
A control unit 35 compares the angle of view between a main imaged image generated by a main imaging unit 21 and a sub-imaged image generated by a sub-imaging unit 22. When it is indicated by the angle of view comparison result of the control unit 35 that the angle of view of the main imaged image is narrower than the angle of view of the sub-imaged image, an image-synthesizing unit 24 superimposes the main imaged image on the sub-imaged image or superimposes a shrunk version of the sub-imaged image on the main imaged image and generates a display image. When the angle of view of the main imaged image is narrower than the angle of view of the sub-imaged image, the main imaged image is made to be the display image. A composition can be easily determined utilizing the sub-imaged image at photographing time. Furthermore, the imaging state can be confirmed by the main imaged image.
