An image processing device comprising a search scenario acquisition unit and a search unit. The search scenario acquisition unit acquires a search scenario composed of a combination of one or more search processes involving searching for an image using, as a search condition, the feature of an image based on an intended image that is the object of the search. The search unit searches, using the combination of search processes indicated by the search scenario, for a matching image that is the object of the search performed, and outputs search result information that indicates a region in the matching image detected by the search.
