The present invention provides an image processing device capable of executing appropriate color conversion even when regions that are preferably printed with only specific ink and other regions are intermingled in one print job. An image processing device for printing an image using a plurality of color materials on the basis of original image data included in a print job is characterized by being provided with: a color conversion means which, with respect to the original image data, converts an input color space into an output device-dependent color space defined by the plurality of color materials; and an output means which outputs the original image data converted into the device-dependent color space, wherein, when the original image data includes an object of a first type and an object of a second type different from the first type, in the conversion by the color conversion means, a first color conversion method for converting data corresponding to the object of the first type into data represented by a first color space, and a second color conversion method for converting data corresponding to the object of the second type into data represented by a second color space different from the first color space are selectively applied in the one print job.
