Abstract:
An image processing device (1) comprising: a sample image input unit (2) to which first and second images of a sample are inputted, the first image and the second image being microscope images captured respectively through an objective lens having a first magnification and an objective lens having a second magnification that is higher than the first magnification; a reference image input unit (3) to which a reference image corresponding to the first and second images is inputted, the reference image being an image of the sample in a wider range than the imaging range of the first and second images; a positioning unit (4) for estimating a first region in the reference image, the first region corresponding to the imaging range of the first image, by comparing the first image with the reference image; and a position acquisition unit (5) for acquiring the position of a second region in the reference image, the second region corresponding to the imaging range of the second image, on the basis of the estimated first region.
