Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an image reading device having a high-precision structure capable of easily increasing depth of field (improving depth of field) without making the change of the basic property of a lens body indispensable. This image reading device is characterized by comprising an overlapping prevention part (5) that is disposed between a lens body array (1) and a sensor element array (3) and prevents overlapping of images of lens bodies (2), a slit part (5) serving as the overlapping prevention part (5) being provided with a plurality of slit plates (7) that extend in a sub-scanning direction to partition a space and are arranged in a main scanning direction, and the slit plates (7) being secured to a securing plate (13).
