Abstract:
This image recording method comprises a step of preparing an ink containing water and a white pigment and a step of ejecting said ink from an inkjet head with a droplet volume of 1.0 pL or more to apply said ink to a substrate, wherein the percentage of the surface area of a region on which said ink has adhered in an ejection surface of said inkjet head from which said ink can be ejected, as measured after dipping said ejection surface in a vertical orientation into said ink for two seconds, subsequently withdrawing said ejection surface from said ink while maintaining said orientation, and subsequently leaving said ejection surface for one minute while maintaining said orientation is 40 area% or less.
