Abstract:
The present application relates to the field of image processing, and provides an image signal processing method and apparatus, which are simple to implement, have a low compression rate, and effectively control error propagation at the decoding end to improve image compression performance. The specific solution comprises: obtaining a binary information source XN of an image; performing a polarization operation on the XN to obtain a bit set to be compressed UN; obtaining a compression retain bit set US from the UN; performing channel encoding on the US to obtain an encoded bit sequence; and outputting the encoded bit sequence.
