Abstract:
This imaging device comprises: a first imaging unit; a second imaging unit; a third imaging unit; and an image processing unit. The first imaging unit acquires a first image in which a first direction is imaged from a first position. The second and third imaging units acquire first and second images by imaging second and third directions from second and third positions located opposite the first direction with respect to the first position. The second imaging unit and the third imaging unit each share a portion of the field of view with the first imaging unit. The image processing unit generates a combined image obtained by combining a part of each of the second image and the third image with a part of the first image. The second imaging unit and the third imaging unit have a longer focal length than the first imaging unit and have a wider viewing angle than the first imaging unit.
