Abstract:
This imaging device comprises: an imaging element equipped with photodiode divisional pixels; and a control unit. The control unit performs control such that: as a reading for one frame of an image in the case of performing rolling shutter reading from the imaging element, a first reading where, with respect to all the pixels involved in generation of the image, an additional value of a first pixel and a second pixel constituting the photodiode divisional pixels is read and a second reading where a first pixel value and a second pixel value can be determined for some of the pixels involved in the generation of the image are performed in a time-sharing manner; and an exposure period for the first reading and an exposure period for the second reading are set independently of each other.
