Abstract:
This imaging device includes a controller, an imaging element, and a light source. When the imaging element performs image capturing in a space which is at least partially surrounded by an object, the controller determines whether the imaging element has come out of the space. When the controller determines that the imaging element has come out of the space, the controller executes power-saving control. In the power-saving control, the controller causes power consumption by an element to be controlled to be less than that before the power-saving control is executed. The element to be controlled is at least one of the imaging element and the light source.
