Abstract:
The present invention provides lensless imaging technology that makes it possible to obtain a high-quality image regardless of the environment. An imaging device is provided with: an image sensor 103 that converts an optical image captured by a plurality of light-receiving elements arranged in an array on an imaging surface into a sensor signal and outputs the result; a modulator 102f that is provided to a light-receiving surface of the image sensor 103 and that modulates light by a first grating pattern; an exposure control unit 210 that determines exposure conditions on the basis of the sensor signal, changes the set exposure conditions to the determined exposure conditions, and performs exposure control in accordance with the exposure conditions after the change; and an image processing unit 220 that generates a second grating pattern corresponding to the first grating pattern, generates a moiré fringe image from the second grating pattern and the sensor signal, and generates a captured image from the moiré fringe image. The exposure conditions include the exposure time of the image sensor 103 and the transmittance of the modulator 102f.
