Abstract:

The imaging system of the present disclosure comprises: an imaging device which is mounted in a vehicle, and which picks up images from the region in the periphery of the vehicle to generate an image; and a processing device which is mounted in the vehicle, and which, on the basis of the image, executes a process pertaining to a vehicle-controlling function. The imaging device comprises: a first control line; a first voltage generation unit that applies a first voltage to the first control line; a first signal line; a plurality of pixels that apply a pixel voltage to the first signal line; a first dummy pixel that, in a first period, applies to the first signal line a voltage corresponding to the first voltage of the first control line; a conversion unit having a first conversion unit that, in the first period, generates a first digital code by performing AD conversion on the basis of the voltage of the first signal line; and a diagnostic unit that performs diagnostic processing on the basis of the first digital code. On the basis of the result of the diagnostic processing, the processing device restricts the vehicle-controlling function.
