Abstract:
Provided is an impact range estimation device 10 that estimates the range of impact due to malware infection in a network system having a plurality of nodes. The impact range estimation device 10 comprising: a reverse propagation probability calculation unit 11 that calculates the probability of propagation of malware to a specific node from each node other than the specific node on the basis of scenario information that specifies an attack pattern by malware and a communication log in a network system before malware infection when the specific node is infected with malware; and a simulation execution unit 12 that calculates the number of times that a node is a source of malware for each other node by executing a plurality of times a simulation in which malware is propagated to the specific node using the calculated probability.
