An improved lamp connecting assembly, comprising a connecting base (31). An opening is provided in the bottom of the connecting base (31), an accommodating cavity for accommodating a circuit board (6) and a battery (7) is provided in the connecting base (31), a mounting position (311) is arranged on an upper surface of the connecting base (31), and an annular connecting groove (312) which is connected to a lampshade (1) having an opening with a diameter of 7-9 cm is provided in the circumferential side of the upper surface of the connecting base (31). A decorative lamp comprises a glass lampshade (1), a light emission source (2), a lamp base, a lamp base fixing part (4), a switch (5), a circuit board (6) and a storage battery (7). The problems of a complex structure, an unattractive appearance and a high manufacturing cost that are caused by the separation of a light emission source (2) from a circuit box of an existing lamp using a lampshade (1) with a diameter of 7-9 cm are solved.
