Title:
IN-VEHICLE ELECTRONIC CONTROL DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/012929
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In general, a current threshold value is set as a fixed value. Consequently, there is a possibility that even if an abnormality occurs in a load and a resistance value becomes small, when a power source voltage applied to the load is low, the current value will also become low, falling under the threshold value, and an overcurrent will not be detected. The present invention comprises, in addition to a first detection means that uses only current value information to detect an overcurrent condition indicating an abnormality in a load, a second detection means that uses power source voltage information regarding the power source voltage applied to the load to calculate a load resistance value and detect an abnormality in the load, whereby the present invention can detect an overcurrent indicating an abnormality in the load even when the power source voltage applied to the load is low.
