Abstract:

The present invention relates to an indoor air sterilization device comprising: a flow channel mounted inside a housing of the indoor air sterilization device; a suction opening through which indoor air is sucked into the flow channel; a discharge opening for discharging the air inside the flow channel to an indoor space; an air supply and exhaust fan connected to the flow channel; a damper for controlling the opening or closing of the discharge opening; at least one sterilization unit mounted to the flow channel so as to sterilize microorganisms in the air inside the flow channel; and a control circuit for controlling the operation of the air supply and exhaust fan and the sterilization unit, wherein pathogenic microorganisms, including viruses or bacteria, included in the indoor air are sterilized through repeated operation mode transitions for discharging indoors, via the discharge opening, when the air supply and exhaust fan operates, the air inside the flow channel, that was sterilized by the sterilization unit while the air supply and exhaust fan was stopped according to a time interval preset in the control circuit.
