Abstract:
The present invention relates to an indoor unit of an air conditioner and a method of controlling same. An indoor unit of an air conditioner, according to the concept of the present invention, comprises: a case; an indoor heat exchanger; a humidification assembly; and a plurality of heat exchange fans. In addition, the humidification assembly includes: an oscillator for forming water particles by ultrasonic vibration; a humidification case for accommodating the oscillator; a humidification fan for forming an airflow passing through the humidification case; and a humidification heater for heating the airflow formed by the humidification fan.
