Abstract:
This indoor unit for air conditioners is provided with: a rear base; a front panel that is configured to be detachably attached to the front of the rear base, that has a lower portion inclined upward from the rear side to the front side, and that has a panel hole formed in the lower portion thereof; an information acquisition means for acquiring information, on a space to be air-conditioned, for use in air-conditioning control; a holding means for holding the information acquisition means, the holding means being disposed protruding from the panel hole such that, in an attachment state where the front panel is attached to the rear base, the information acquisition means is disposed lower than the upper edge of the panel hole in the up-down direction, and is disposed on the front side of the lower edge of the panel hole in the front-rear direction; at least one rear base-side engagement part disposed at the upper portion of the rear base; and at least one front panel-side engagement part disposed at the upper portion of the front panel and engageable with the rear base-side engagement part. The rear base-side engagement part is a protruding part protruding downward. The front panel-side engagement part has a claw protruding upward. In the attachment state, the claw is positioned on the rear side of the protruding part and is engaged with the protruding part. A claw engagement surface of the claw facing the protruding part is inclined upward from the front side to the rear side.
