Abstract:
This indoor unit for a ceiling-embedded air conditioner comprises: a housing having an intake opening formed at the rear and a discharge opening formed at the front as viewed from the front, the housing being embedded in a ceiling; a ventilation fan that blows air taken into the housing through the intake opening to the outside of the housing through the discharge opening; a heat exchanger that performs heat exchange between a refrigerant and the air taken into the housing through the intake opening by the ventilation fan; and a drain pan positioned below the heat exchanger inside the housing, the drain pan recovering drain water from the heat exchanger. A part of the drain pan faces the intake opening, and the bottom surface of the portion facing the intake opening is inclined so as to recede from the intake opening.
