Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an inertial measurement unit (IMU) which makes it possible to, in shake correction, achieve appropriate shake correction considering a time lag from the observation timing of the IMU until the motion of an actuator or the like is controlled, a method for operating an inertial measurement unit, an imaging device, a display device, and a program. A detection result is synthesized and outputted by a plurality of IMUs of an imaging device main body, and future angular velocity and acceleration in the future of a predetermined time from current angular velocity and acceleration of a main body part are outputted. On the basis of the future angular velocity and acceleration, future position and attitude of an image sensor are detected, and the shake of the image sensor is corrected by the image sensor being driven such that the shake of the image sensor is absorbed on the basis of the position and attitude that are detection results. The present disclosure is applicable to an imaging device.
