Abstract:
An inerting system and method for a methanol tank of a ship, being safe, reliable and easy to operate and manage, and applied to the technical field of inerting systems. The inerting system for a methanol tank of a ship comprises an input module, a methanol tank (1) and an output module which are connected in sequence, and further comprises a nitrogen supply device (2), a reduced-pressure check valve (3), a solenoid valve (4) and a stop check valve (5) which are connected in sequence; an output end of the stop check valve (5) is in communication with the methanol tank (1), the methanol tank (1) is internally provided with a first oxygen concentration sensor (6) electrically connected to the solenoid valve (4), and when the oxygen concentration within the methanol tank (1) is greater than a preset value, the first oxygen concentration sensor (6) feeds back an electric signal to turn on the solenoid valve (4), and the methanol tank (1) is provided with a pressure vacuum valve (7).
