An inflatable toy (1), an inflating/deflating main machine (2), an inflatable toy system and a control method. The inflatable toy (1) comprises at least two air cavities, at least one of which is a deformable air cavity (3) that can be inflated and deflated. The deformable air cavity (3) comprises at least one air cavity inflating/deflating interface that can be connected to an air pump (4) via an inflating/deflating pipe having an air valve. The inflatable toy (1) can match a preset inflating/deflating mode, and has a characteristic for identifying the matching inflating/deflating mode, such that by means of control over the start/stop of the air pump (4) and/or the opening/closing of the air valve, the inflatable toy is inflated or deflated according to the preset inflating/deflating mode to achieve the changing of the mode. The inflating/deflating main machine (2) comprises a control unit (7) which controls the start/stop of the air pump (4) and/or the opening/closing of the air valve, such that the inflatable toy (1) connected to the inflating/deflating pipe is inflated or deflated according to the mode to achieve the changing of the mode. The inflatable toy system has diversified and personalized entertainment functions, and allows the inflatable toy (1) to be played with according to the actual needs of a player.
