Abstract:
[Problem] To quantitatively and quickly measure a change of optical status that may occur in an optical system formed in an optical device. [Solution] An information processing apparatus of the present disclosure comprises: an image capture unit that captures a plurality of random pattern images, which are outputted from an optical device having a given optical system, in respective situations where the optical system exhibits respective different states, thereby generating a plurality of pieces of image capture data corresponding to the respective states of the optical system; a corresponding position determination unit that calculates, by use of the plurality of pieces of image capture data generated by the image capture unit, an optical flow among the plurality of captured images with respect to at least three arbitrary points in the captured images corresponding to the plurality of pieces of image capture data, thereby determining positions corresponding to each other among the plurality of captured images; and a feature quantity calculation unit that calculates, on the basis of a determination result obtained by the corresponding position determination unit, a feature quantity representative of the difference of the optical system among the plurality of captured images of interest.
