Abstract:
Provided is an information processing device that performs processing for protecting privacy and/or security on an image to be uploaded to a social media site. The information processing device comprises an area estimation unit that estimates a candidate area for object detection from an image, a topic estimation unit that estimates a topic of the image on the basis of text information associated with the image, an area evaluation unit that evaluates the candidate area estimated by the area estimation unit on the basis of the relevance to the topic estimated by the topic estimation unit, and an image generation unit that generates an image on the basis of the result of the evaluation by the area evaluation unit. The topic estimation unit estimates the topic on the basis of a tagged word.
